Before Opening Your Product

ZenBloks products arrive vacuum-sealed to protect the foam during transit. Once the seal is opened, the foam expands permanently and cannot be re-compressed or re-sealed. Because of this, returns are only accepted for items that remain unopened and unused.

Before opening the packaging, please take a moment to:

Verify the item, size, and color on the label match your order confirmation.
Inspect the outer packaging for visible damage that may have occurred in transit.
Review our size guide if you are unsure whether the height or dimensions are correct for your needs.

If anything appears incorrect or damaged, or if you believe you received the wrong item, please get in touch with our support team before opening the vacuum seal so we can assist you quickly.

Once opened and expanded, the product is considered used and cannot be returned or exchanged except in cases of a verified manufacturing defect covered under our Limited Warranty.

1. 30-Day Return & Exchange Policy

We offer a 30-day return and exchange window from the date your order is delivered. This policy balances customer flexibility with the hygiene and product integrity standards required for foam and cushioning products.

1.1 Why Returns Must Be Unopened

ZenBloks products are vacuum-sealed and expand permanently once opened. Foam items cannot be re-compressed, re-sealed, or returned to new condition after expansion. For hygiene, safety, and product integrity, returns are accepted only for items that remain unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging.

1.2 Returning an Unopened Product

Unopened items in their original vacuum-sealed packaging may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery.

Eligibility: The product must be unused, unexpanded, clean, and in resalable condition, with all original packaging and materials included.
How to start a return or exchange: Contact our support team with your order number. Our team will provide instructions for the next steps.
Refunds: Once the returned item is received and inspected, a refund for the product purchase price will be issued to your original payment method. Processing typically takes 5 to 7 business days after the item arrives at our facility.
Shipping costs: For change-of-mind returns and exchanges, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
Restocking fees: We do not charge restocking fees.

1.3 Opened or Expanded Items

Once a product’s vacuum seal is opened and the foam has expanded, the item is considered used and cannot be accepted for return or exchange. This applies to all personal comfort preferences, including firmness, height, contour, shape, or a belief that the product does not feel as expected.

The only exception for an opened product is a confirmed manufacturing defect that qualifies under our Limited Warranty in Section 2.

1.4 Comfort Preference vs Manufacturing Defect

To keep the policy fair and consistent for all customers, any claim involving a potential defect must include supporting photo or video evidence as outlined in the Warranty Claim Process in Section 2.4.

Examples that are not treated as defects include:

Personal comfort preference regarding firmness or softness
Expectations about height, contour, or shape that differ from personal preference
General dissatisfaction unrelated to material or workmanship quality

These situations do not qualify as manufacturing defects and do not make an opened product eligible for return or refund.

2. 10-Year Limited Warranty

ZenBloks products are warranted against qualifying manufacturing defects for the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable and is the sole and exclusive warranty offered for ZenBloks products.

2.1 Warranty Coverage Period

Foam Core | 10-Year Limited Warranty: The foam core is warranted against qualifying manufacturing defects for ten (10) years from the original date of purchase.
Fabric Cover | 1-Year Limited Warranty: The fabric cover is warranted against qualifying manufacturing defects for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.

2.2 What This Limited Warranty Covers

Foam Core (10 Years): Manufacturing defects that result in visible cracking, splitting, or material deterioration under normal use. It also covers a visible indentation or loss of resilience greater than one (1) inch that is not the result of normal softening over time.
Fabric Cover (1 Year): Physical flaws in the fabric or zipper caused by a manufacturing error, such as defective seams or a zipper mechanism that fails under normal use.

2.3 What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty is limited to defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover:

Personal comfort preference: Any subjective feedback about firmness, feel, height, contouring, or the way the product supports the body.
Normal wear and tear: Expected softening of foam over time, or cosmetic changes to fabric such as pilling, fading, or minor surface changes from regular use.
Physical damage or misuse: Damage from accidents, abuse, or incorrect handling, including stains, spills, burns, cuts, liquid exposure, or pet damage.
Improper care: Damage resulting from not following care instructions, such as attempting to wash or soak the foam core or exposing it to inappropriate cleaning agents.
Unauthorized sellers: Any product purchased from an unauthorized retailer, or any product sold as “as is,” “used,” or “refurbished.”

2.4 Warranty Claim Process

Contact support: To initiate a warranty claim, contact our support team with a description of the issue.
Provide proof of purchase: A valid ZenBloks.com order number is required to confirm warranty eligibility.
Submit visual evidence: Clear photographs and/or a short video showing the issue are required so our team can accurately review the claim.

ZenBloks will review each claim based on the information provided and reserves the right to determine whether a claim meets the criteria for a manufacturing defect under this Limited Warranty. If a defect is confirmed, we will, at our discretion, repair the product, replace the product or component, or provide an equivalent solution.

If we require the product or a component to be returned for evaluation, ZenBloks will provide a prepaid shipping label for qualifying warranty claims.

In cases where information is incomplete, inconsistent, or indicates misuse, alteration, or fraudulent activity, ZenBloks may request additional documentation or decline the claim if it does not meet warranty requirements.

Avoid direct sunlight or leaving the cushion inside a hot vehicle. Temperatures above 104°F (40°C) can affect the gel material. If the cushion becomes warm, allow it to cool indoors for approximately 30 minutes before sitting on it again.

Unpacking Your Pillow

ZenBloks® pillows and leg elevation wedges are shipped carefully compressed to protect the foam and fabric from humidity and temperature changes during transit.

Open the plastic wrap gently. The pillow or wedge will expand to full shape within a few hours (up to 24 hours depending on the climate). Do not wash the foam core. Water can damage high-density foam materials.
